Wow! Love this car! I think he's gotta just get his 1-2 shift cleaner and not let it hit the rev limiter and he might improve his time. Definitely raise the rev limiter. But that's just My Humble Opinion. Maybe even try a 2nd gear start and see what comes of that? Great stuff!

Stop running radial tires in the back. Put some bias ply slicks on the back. It’s a stick shift car, so it helps to have a softer tire out back. Your front half will improve a lot. A RWD car that’s trapping mid 150s can easily go high 8s ET.
